Attorneys out in the field! This past weekend, Partner Gale Pearson as President of National Civil Justice Institute hosted the Judicial Forum "AI and the Courts". NCJI is a judicial think tank, serving State Appellate court judiciaries from around the country. This year over 200 state court judges attended the conference. Partners Brian E. McMath and Ann Saucer were also in attendance serving as moderator and guest speaker. 

Attorneys out in the field! This week, Public Entity Litigation Attorney Michaela Hohwieler (Lutz) served as panelist for the American Bar Association webinar on Consumer Protection 101 - Key Laws Beyond UDAP. We are thrilled to have such excellent representation of our firm!

Attorney Spotlight: Arati Chauhan Furness Arati Furness is a managing attorney at Nachawati Law Group in the Dallas office. Arati focuses her practice on product liability and toxic torts, specifically medical devices, drugs and herbicides. Arati earned her bachelor’s degree in 1999 from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law) in 2002. She began her law career in California working as a defense attorney. This experience provides an advantage, as she has a better understanding of the inner workings of defendants which makes her an incredible advocate for plaintiffs. Previously, while working tirelessly at another firm here in Texas, Arati was selected to be part of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the Exactech Product Liability Multidistrict Litigation in the Eastern District of New York. This accomplishment is incredibly significant, as she is the first attorney at that firm to be selected to such a committee. This achievement impacts people nationwide as she was part of a team that encourages diversity and allows younger attorneys to serve in high-standing roles throughout their careers.

Congratulations Madeline Mabery, our July 2024 Employee of the Month! Madeline has been with us since 2021. Madeline is always pulled in many different directions, but she is never afraid to accept new challenges. She is always willing to take on additional responsibilities and has become an integral part of the team. We are lucky to have Madeline as part of our firm.
