AI strategies that evolve to manage funds.

About us

What if instead of an investor selecting managers or strategies; we could have strategies compete to deserve the right to be in a portfolio? In this scenario, Darwin manages the allocation across several different strategies. Think of stocks as players and strategies as “teams”. Players compete to get selected for a team. However, once selected for the team, they work together to achieve the goal of winning. Here are a few of the strategies that we “curated” for our platform. Each strategy uses the set of stocks and ETF’s they are assigned to manage funds in the market. The strategies include ones that were generated in-house and third-party strategies. Our RIA and Hedge Fund partners use Darwin to manage the allocation across these strategies based on the risk preference of their clients. By increasing allocation to better-performing strategies and reducing allocation to weaker strategies, Darwin is designed to “evolve” with time.

AI in Stock Market Prediction: A Deep Dive into Ethical Considerations. As artificial intelligence continues to permeate various sectors, its use in stock market prediction and trading has raised several ethical considerations. The primary concerns revolve around transparency and accountability. Here, we'll explore these challenges and how MyStockDNA effectively communicates about them to clients and interested parties. 1. Complexity and Transparency AI systems, particularly those involving deep learning, are often complex and opaque, "black boxes." Their intricate algorithms and extensive datasets can baffle experts. When discussing AI trading systems with clients it's crucial to strike a balance between transparency and simplicity. How MyStockDNA takes on: Think of our AI trading system like a highly advanced calculator. It takes in a variety of market data, analyzes it using sophisticated algorithms, and then makes trading decisions based on patterns it detects. While the exact computations are complex, the goal is to maximize returns by making informed trades. 2. Bias and Fairness AI systems can unintentionally perpetuate biases present in their training data. This could lead to unfair trading advantages or disadvantages, potentially influencing market dynamics in unforeseen ways. Clients should understand measures taken to mitigate bias in the AI system. These include the use of diverse and comprehensive datasets, regular audits, and algorithm updates. How MyStockDNA takes on it: We recognize that data can sometimes carry biases. That's why we employ rigorous checks and balances to ensure our AI makes fair and unbiased trading decisions. Try our blind-folded chimp challenge! https://lnkd.in/gFwcVNnd 3. Accountability and Decision-Making Determining accountability for decisions made by AI systems can be challenging, especially in cases of unexpected losses. The role of human oversight in the AI trading process should be clear, highlighting how human experts review and validate AI-driven decisions, ensuring accountability. How MyStockDNA takes on it: While our AI system plays a crucial role in trading, it does not operate in isolation. Our team of experts continuously monitors its decisions, providing an additional layer of scrutiny. This ensures that any action taken by the AI aligns with our clients' best interests and market regulations. Finally By transparently addressing these challenges and effectively communicating the safeguards in place, we can build trust with our clients and stakeholders. Incorporating AI responsibly into trading strategies not only enhances performance but also ensures that the technology is used ethically and transparently, maintaining the integrity of financial markets. It will be interesting to hear about your thoughts and experiences with AI in stock market prediction! 😁

The Turtle Traders experiment was a famous trading experiment conducted by commodity traders Richard Dennis and William Eckhardt in the early 1980s. The strategy they followed, known as the Turtle Trading System, was rooted in trend-following principles. Some of its key components are commonly used in systematic trading: Specific, mechanical rules, Position Sizing, Volatility based stops and exits for stop loss or profit taking. This structured approach aimed to capitalize on large, sustained price movements, while managing risk across multiple instruments and markets. Have you tried Richard Dennis's principles in your trading? Do you think a trading system with this methodology is still relevant today? Let us know #Trading #MyStockDNA

The Turtle Traders' systematic, rules-based approach to trading could be taught and effectively implemented, even by novices. Richard Dennis is a well-known commodity trader famous for his Turtle Trading experiment, a landmark in trading history. The Turtle Trading experiment, conducted in the early 1980s, was a bet between Richard Dennis and his trading partner, William Eckhardt, about whether trading could be taught. Dennis believed that trading skills could be broken down into a set of rules that anyone could follow, while Eckhardt argued that successful trading was an innate skill. To settle the debate, Dennis placed an advertisement in the Wall Street Journal to recruit a group of people from diverse backgrounds, who would be known as the "Turtles." These individuals, who had little to no experience in trading, were trained for two weeks in Dennis's rules-based trading system. They were then given accounts to manage, with real money, to see how well they would perform. The rules given to the Turtles were based on trend-following strategies, involving buying futures contracts during market upswings and selling during downswings, with specific guidelines on position sizing, entry, exits, and stop-loss orders. The idea was to capitalize on large market movements and manage risk appropriately. The experiment turned out to be hugely successful, with the Turtles reportedly earning over $100 million in profit. This success demonstrated that a systematic, rules-based approach to trading could be taught and effectively implemented, even by novices. The Turtle Trading system became legendary and has influenced various trading strategies since then. Its core principles, such as trend following, risk management, and the importance of a disciplined, systematic approach to trading, are still relevant in the trading world today. The story of Richard Dennis and the Turtle Traders highlights the potential of systematic trading strategies and the idea that successful trading can be a learned skill rather than an inherent talent. https://a.co/d/hyMK46d If you want to stay up-to-date with us, follow our Page.

UMAi Quant Aggressive - Leveraged ETFs & Crypto This Portfolio (+35.43% CAGR, +17.4% YTD) dynamically allocates between multiple leveraged strategies based on managing risk and achieving higher returns as a by-product. Darwin is our model for allocating funds across strategies. Darwin strives to do this via an “evolutionary” approach where strategies compete for allocation in a portfolio, akin to players vying for selection in a sports team. However, once strategies are included in the portfolio, they work together to achieve the goal of winning. By increasing allocation to better-performing players and reducing allocation to weaker players, Darwin is designed to reward consistency and prioritize lower risk-taking in pursuit of returns. check it out at https://lnkd.in/g2xCr6G9 follow our page to stay up to date!
