This project is another example of the range of work the Mustang Extreme Environmental team has been completing this year. For this innovative farming operation in California, Mustang lined a series of ponds used to grow algae to produce a range of products including biofuels, polymers, protein for food and other products. Last week our South Texas crews were busy completing 2 storm water runoff ponds to enhance a new housing development in the City of Liberty Hills. Installation of liner, boots around inlets, outlets and sediment markers, batten bar around concrete structures -- all completed and passed inspection in time for the holiday break. Our commitment to the highest safety standards and practices means constant training and re-training, even for our most seasoned veterans. In addition to the proper use of cutting tools, and other best practices, this week’s training included: - Working safely around cellars - Management of wind conditions during liner deployment - Heavy equipment inspection, operation, lift capacity, maintenance and weather-related best practices - Safe winter health precautions and driving methods We were also pleased to give special recognition for exemplary actions in the field.
