At our Circlewood Drive Group Home in Hamlet, NC, the residents have been hard at work, transforming their space into a vibrant garden with the help of a $1,100 internal grant! With these funds, they purchased raised flower beds, gardening tools and everything needed to grow beautiful flowers and fresh vegetables. The residents have truly taken on the responsibility of this project—planting, watering and caring for their garden with dedication. Not only does this project brighten their home, but it also provides them with fresh, homegrown veggies they can enjoy in healthy meals they prepare together. On this “Feel Good Friday” we hope to send you into the weekend with the same positivity and pride that our gardeners feel!
