I'm a 3rd generation miner, both Dad and Grandpa were Coal miners! 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦? Eden, Wyoming 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫? Running a front end loaders for sure. Just over a year ago I started running a LeTourneau 1850 and I also now run a 994k. Loading trucks is by far my favorite thing to do on a mine site! 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦? Having to adapt to changing situations/environments. Just be patient take things as they come and if it's an unfamiliar situation, ask for help or guidance if needed. 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫? I would say having a strong work ethic. I entered the mining industry as a contract janitor not even being employed by the mine I was working at. I eventually got hired on with that mine and worked my way up to a blaster. I believe a strong work ethic and perseverance will take you wherever you would like to be in the industry. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞?
