Expanding Into the Future! 🎉 We just broke ground on an exciting expansion of our Midea America Research Center in Louisville, Kentucky! During the groundbreaking ceremony, attendees were treated to remarks from Midea executives and state and local officials. This investment underscores Midea’s ongoing commitment to driving innovation in the U.S. and increasing its research capacity while creating new job opportunities in the region. With our expanded MARC facility, we’re unlocking even more potential to create smart, practical home appliances that make life easier. This project will add over 100 new jobs and further solidify Louisville as a hub for next-gen appliance innovation. What’s in store? New, advanced research labs (27k sq ft to 150k sq ft) A consumer insights center A showroom to highlight our latest products! Pi Day at Midea America Research Center! Our team enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon complete with a Pi Day treasure hunt and a bake-off. The teams’ smiles and laughs throughout the event, whether running around for hidden treasures or sampling the various pies, were contagious.
