It was a great day for our fall litter cleanup! A group of staff spent the morning sprucing up the Rosedale Arch area. We partner with Wyandotte County, Kansas, to adopt the area around the landmark area. This is one of three MARC staff cleanups there per year.

Congratulations to MARC Board 2nd Vice Chair and City of Smithville, Missouri Mayor Damien Boley. He was elected vice president of the Missouri Municipal League. We're recognizing two employees who are celebrating five years at MARC! Head Start Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) Coordinator Kate Eickhoff has consistently shown leadership during her time at MARC. She is a quick learner and is always willing to jump in and help wherever needed. Health and Medical Program Manager Jennifer Sutherlin leads a team of professionals and works with the area’s hospitals, public health, emergency medical services, and emergency management agencies to advance health and medical preparedness and coordinate response.
