About us
The Michigan Gaming Control Board provides for the licensing, regulation and control of casino gaming operations at the Detroit commercial casinos. It also licenses and regulates the casinos' gaming equipment manufacturers and distributors, suppliers and employees. Additionally, the agency regulates pari-mutuel horse racing and casino-style charitable gaming. Agency staff also audits compliance with tribal gaming compact agreements with the state of Michigan.

The three Detroit casinos reported $105.44 million in monthly aggregate revenue for the month of June 2024, of which $104.55 million was generated from table games and slots, and $889,014 from retail sports betting.
