Today, LARA Director Marlon Brown, State Fire Marshal Kevin Sehlmeyer, and Traverse City Fire Chief Jim Tuller were joined by fire departments from Blair Township, Long Lake, South Torch Lake, and Grand Traverse Metro Fire Departments to promote LARA's $1 million investment to purchasing and distributing smoke detectors to residents across the state.
