APIs offer the most secure, reliable, and robust method of connectivity between applications. However, APIs aren’t always an option. 💔 With this in mind, we’ve decided to roll out Merge SFTP, which allows you to automatically export reports from a system on a regular cadence and add them to a Merge-hosted SFTP server securely. The data in the reports are then normalized into our Common Models and can be fetched and added to your product.⚡ You can read on to learn how, exactly, Merge SFTP can help your customers sync data via files automatically or manually (as shown below) on our blog: https://hubs.li/Q02NbgdM0

Calling all Dreamforce attendees! 📣 Our very own CEO and co-founder, Shensi Ding, will be taking the stage with Jonathan Fields, the CEO and co-founder at Assembly (joinassembly.com), to talk about why product integration data is key to building reliable and personalized AI features in your product. ✨ Jonathan will then bring this concept to life by sharing how their intranet solution uses files—via their customer-facing file storage integrations—to deliver a highly-personalized user experience. 🚀 You can learn more about the session here: https://hubs.li/Q02MZ8fC0

SDKs can play an invaluable role in helping you build and maintain API integrations. Using them effectively, however, might not be intuitive. 😅 Here are some tips and tricks that can help you make the most of any SDK: ✔️ Determine your specific integration use case(s) first. Once you’ve identified the relevant endpoint(s), you can use the SDK to locate the endpoint(s) and determine the appropriate implementation schema. ✔️ Bookmark the API providers’ SDK changelogs. Many updates may not be relevant to your integration use cases and/or don’t require action on your end, but keeping tabs on the changelogs ensures that your team pinpoints relevant updates on time. ✔️ Prioritize integrations with mature SDKs. Assuming your integration use cases with two API providers offer relatively similar business value, you should focus on the use case that lets you work off of a more robust SDK first, as you’ll likely be able to build that integration faster and realize value sooner. You can learn more about these best practices and discover what makes Merge's SDKs best-in-class on our blog: https://hubs.li/Q02MCycF0

As you look to scale your customer-facing integrations, you may end up needing to outsource them to a 3rd-party solution. 🛠️ That said, you may not want customers worrying about the 3rd-party solution’s security posture, reliability, and policies and procedures for handling integration data. To accommodate both needs, you can invest in a white label integration solution. ⚡ We'll break down several embedded iPaaS solutions that let you white label their integrations as well as Merge's approach (as shown below) so that you can better decide which is right for your business. 👇 https://hubs.li/Q02MpmRP0
