Merakey individuals in Redding, CA recently participated in Special Olympics bowling. 🎳 Lisa, pictured, was one of seven clients who was a return participant. Everyone had an amazing time at the practices, the dinner dance, and the tournament.

Our dedicated team helps individuals find job opportunities that fit their schedules and enhance their lives by providing personalized support, training, and assistance. This month, we're excited to spotlight Tabby and her journey! After receiving support in one of our residential homes, Tabby transitioned to independent living and began her role as a cashier at Giant Eagle, where she's been thriving for over five months. Known for her friendly smile and helpful nature, Tabby is a wonderful example of what can be achieved with determination and the right support. The Williamsport Area School District's Hope Squad organized a charity walk called the "Millionaire Mile" in support of suicide prevention. The Children and Family Services office staff from Merakey’s Intensive Behavioral Health Services in Williamsport, PA set up a table at the walk to help spread awareness on the importance of mental and behavioral health. Merakey staff members Sarah Frey, Adrienne Sell and Heather Joscelyn wore "Stay Another Day" shirts and joined the community event.

It’s been one month since we opened Philadelphia’s first adult mental health urgent care clinic, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support our community’s mental health needs. The Merakey Autism Center in Michigan recently participated in the Autism Alliance of Michigan's Superhero Walk at the Detroit Zoo. The Program Directors from Flint/Dearborn and Grand Rapids had a table and passed out flyers to inform families of services. The Behavior Technicians and BCBAs participated in the walk and saw the beautiful zoo! It was a fantastic event that Merakey cannot wait to be a part of again next year.
