Huerfano County Government, Colorado, demonstrates a strong commitment to community stewardship by revitalizing historic spaces through an Energy Performance Contract (EPC) supported by the Inflation Reduction Act. The EPC enabled the county to retrofit 21 lighting sites, install 212 solar panels, and save over 430,000 gallons of water annually through mechanical upgrades. These energy-efficient measures will reduce usage by 26%, saving the county $56,000 in utilities. McKinstry is proud to partner with Huerfano County as they demonstrate what is possible when municipalities work strategically to combat the climate crisis and improve resident and visitor experience. https://lnkd.in/gmyKUBvE
