It's an exciting new chapter. Today, we embark on the next evolution of our Project Leadership Fellows Program in DoD to AEC; empowering the entrepreneurial spirit of mcfa's origin story. Our company was founded in 2003 through identifying the opportunity (and need) to connect creative problem solvers with client needs in rapidly changing market conditions. That staple in our history has remained steadfast despite drastic changes in the "Built Environment" over the last 21 years. Through organic and intentional evolution of our practice areas: -Military Missions & Installations -Transportation & Infrastructure -Campus & Community Planning -Owner's Rep. Construction Management ...we continue to adapt to our environment and the needs of our clients. Now continuing our mission of Inspiring People & Places in Florida, Virginia, and with continued growth in Southern California. Over the last 21 years, Michael, Jon, and BJ have all taken turns at the helm of the organization, helping us get to where we are today. Now, all under the same banner, collectively aligned under BJ's vision to enable the trajectory of this organization into its next phase of growth. Most of us think of it as our last day of summer; but it represents the unsung heroes of the American dream. Cheers!

Sometimes I don't say 'thank you' enough. These Summer months - despite being quieter for many - have brought an onslaught of activity for our internal talent team. In August and September, we added/will add 5 new full-time team members (Grace Brokenshire, Pete Anzovino, Jesse Weber, Bernard Anim, Tim Pinelli), made possible by the continuous efforts of our internal team members (Matthew Conlon, Ally McNamara, PMP, Mike Pytlik, PMP, PSP, EVP, Ryan Spearing, Christopher Schaefer, Joseph Fay, Jon Nehlsen) And starting tomorrow, we add 5 new Project Leadership Fellows (transitioning service members) to our DoD to AEC SkillBridge Cohort through Hiring Our Heroes (Taveya Ware, Juanita G., Ethan Stanley, Nichelle Denny, M.S., Thomas Haluska). Sometimes, the most rewarding part of our job is also the most challenging. So ... Thank you to everyone who is trusting us at mcfa to play some part in their career journey and development, and thank you to everyone on our team for making opportunities like these become a reality. It's shaping up to be an eventful Fall...and we wouldn't have it any other way. #InspiringPeopleAndPlaces

Today I got to introduce Mic and Sky to a tradition in my industry, the “Topping Out”. Legend says that Scandinavians would put an evergreen on the top of new structures because they would know that the structure was sufficiently cured when the needles would fall off of the tree or branch. Today we topped out at the new Rec Facility at Doylestown Township. A facility that will serve kids long after my own are grown.
