We had an incredible time at the Chicagoland Food Science Foundation Spice Up Your Life event! Scientist, Paul Hoffman, contributed to the Spice Panel, where he highlighted the power of spices in enhancing the eating experience and how cooking trends translate into consumer products. He also explored spices as functional ingredients and discussed important aspects of sustainability and safety. It was a wonderful event for a great cause, and we were thrilled to be part of it!

We had an incredible time at the annual McCormick FONA company picnic last weekend! The day was filled with excitement as we enjoyed face painting, a petting zoo, outdoor games, a rock climbing wall, tractor rides, delicious food and great weather. It was the perfect summer day to celebrate together. Check out some of our favorite moments from the event!

Last week, McCormick FONA marked a significant milestone, 10 consecutive years of SQF Excellence! Our site achieved a score of 98 on this year’s Safe Quality Food Audit.🎉 Auditors had positive comments including "great hospitality," "very well maintained facility and programs," and stated "the actions and practices that were observed reflect a strong food safety culture.” We are so proud of this accomplishment and are thankful for all teams who help support our food and safety systems and programs for McCormick FONA employees and customers.

Last week we held one of our favorite days of the year — Take Your Child To Work Day! Employees and their children were able to participate in fun activities and experiments including learning about building a flavor, food safety, creating their own beverages and seasonings, making custom cupcakes, watching a liquid nitrogen demo to create ice cream, and creating a pixie stick with a twist. This year, our Geneva Ambassador Group even led a charity activity to support local residential childcare facility Mooseheart. Thank you to all of the employees who helped support this event to make the day so special! #takeyourchildtoworkday

We loved hosting almost all of our Flavorists together at one site last week to share valuable knowledge and training experiences. So thankful for our amazing Flavor Crew and their ability to create memorable eating and drinking experiences and unique solutions for our customers!
