Meet the MAYA Team. Allow us to introduce Lisa Feldman, our newly promoted Director of Marketing. Lisa is the epitome of a team player! She is often the first to arrive at the office, greeting everyone with a smile and amazing energy. Her creativity and diligence have allowed the MAYA brand to flourish, and we can't wait to see what she has in store. Learn More About Lisa Here: I started my career at Maya Romanoff in April 2022 as the Marketing Manager, working closely with Jennifer Block, the then VP of Business Development. My marketing career started at 19 at Eli's Cheesecake where I progressed through various roles, focusing on B2B sales and marketing, brand messaging, and strategic customer relationships. After over 8 years in the food service industry, I was looking for a change and wanted to pursue my interest in interior design. As I had no experience in this industry, I entered via my role as Marketing Manager at Ex-Cell Kaiser. This role gave me a new perspective on B2B Marketing for the industry, as well as insight into designers’ minds. With over a decade of experience, I joined MAYA as a Marketing Manager and was later promoted to Marketing Director. In this role, I am honored to lead regional marketing initiatives and content management, leveraging her extensive experience in market research and brand strategy. Everything about the culture at MAYA speaks to me as a person. I love walking into the production studio to see the magic of what we do come to life every day. There is no better feeling than seeing a product go from development to production to final installation. It’s truly incredible how our wallcoverings can put a smile on someone’s face by bringing the entire space together. When I’m not working, I love to be in the kitchen cooking. My specialty is Asian cuisine, specifically Thai or Japanese – I make a great dupe for the Din Tai Fung cucumbers! My current song obsession is Pink Pony Club by your favorite artists’ favorite artist, Chappell Roan. As soon as it comes on, I am pumped up with a smile on my face and ready to belt out the lyrics. I love it almost as much as I love my yellow lab, Skye.

Meet the MAYA Team. Allow us to introduce you to Janet Espino, our Client Services Manager. Janet is our office's resident dog whisperer! Her natural intuition and care for others has made her an amazing Client Services Manager. Learn More About Janet Here: After 17 years in the optical industry, I decided to make a drastic change in my career. Reaching out to a friend in 2021 for a referral landed me an amazing opportunity in the wallcovering industry. Thank you, Karen Collins, for thinking of me and having the confidence, I can tackle this amazing new career path at MAYA! I have a new love and appreciation for the craftsmanship and creativity of wallcoverings. We have an awesome team of product developers, graphic designers, and artisans who create beautiful designs in our Skokie showroom. I take pride in knowing that we provide the highest quality of products. I am ensuring that we make every room look BEAUTIFUL! Outside of MAYA, I have 3 kids and a husband who keeps me busy. I had the privilege of being a dog mom to an old English Bulldog named Romeo. He crossed the rainbow bridge in September of 2023. But I have Teddy, Lincoln, and Daisy (Michael and Joyce’s dogs) to help me deal with my loss and heal my broken heart every day. Thank you! I also enjoy driving old cars. From a nice American muscle car such as a 70 Ford Falcon to an import 2003 Subaru WRX which I own both. Each one provides such a unique experience behind the wheel. Porto Elo is a result of our artisans' passion for creating extraordinary surfacing materials. This collaboration with Rockwell Group exemplifies the importance of sourcing natural materials. Meet the MAYA Team. Allow us to introduce you to Jose R., our new Northeast Regional Sales Manager. Jose has been working in sales since the age of 16 and fell in love with interiors. He finds true enjoyment in assisting people in finding solutions for their complex design projects. Learn More About Jose Here: I have been fortunate to work in the luxury interior design field for over 20 years with a variety of firms and offerings. In addition to the inspiring spaces, I like the way interior design opens the conversation to history and the creative people who inspire the spaces. I appreciate and enjoy how Maya Romanoff works together to provide the highest quality product possible. A great deal of organization and conversation go into all parts of the MAYA's goal to supply quality products and optimal customer service. Outside of work, I have no specific hobbies I gravitate to. I tend to go with the flow and try to experience whatever I can through the recommendations of friends and family. This is to say that I am fine to binge-watch a few shows, explore different cities, or compete in Tough Mudder. In addition, I enjoy all types of music and choose a song based on my current mood, energy level, or what works for me at the moment. I have no issues with starting my day with Adele and working my way through Florida-Georgia Line, some Weezy and Metallica while we wrapping up the day with Whitney Neil Diamond.
