Matheson Capital was founded 9 years ago today. I will never forget sitting in an office with Will Matheson discussing whether we should take the leap and needless to say, I'm glad we did. I told someone what we were thinking about doing and I will never forget what they said... "Don't you dare" Well... We dared! 6 Years ago we purchased our second (and last) investment property in Los Angeles. England Ave Apartments was a 6-unit deal in Inglewood, CA. This property is located just a few blocks away from SoFi Stadium and required extensive "to the studs" renovations across all six units. Despite some obstacles posed by the Inglewood city council, we were able to sell this property in the fall of 2019 for over $500,000 more than we paid for it.
