Its origin is described by the International Trade Centre (UN agency for trade), and the International Apparel Federation (45 producer countries): “We urgently need a common understanding of potential in business innovation to achieve a meaningful, productive and profitable transformation. This paper is our contribution.”   The title is deliberately non-Western in symbol and perspective, amplifying the voice of the global supplier community. It is a new narrative for market value and social impact in all tiers of the supply chain.
