On the occasion of the arrival in Doha of the majestic sailing ship Amerigo Vespucci, the Italy Village was set up, where Marmomac highlighted natural stone with an exclusive training session. The masterclass "Designing with Nature: The Symphony of Stone for Masterpieces of Modern Architecture," conducted by Grazia Signori, an expert geologist and ornamental stone specialist, offered an in-depth look at the applications of natural stone in major contemporary architectural projects, exploring the relationship between innovation and tradition. During the event, Paolo Toschi, Italy's Ambassador to the State of Qatar, underscored the importance of Marmomac in the stone sector, highlighting the fair's central role in promoting the quality and value of natural stone and contributing to the growth of the industry on a global scale. His presence confirmed the strong bond between Italy and Qatar, uniting education and culture through the universal language of stone. "Veronafiere and its events are a bridge between sector excellence and global markets," said Federico Bricolo, president of Veronafiere. "This event in Doha is an important opportunity to consolidate our sector's leadership, focusing on education and innovation," added Adolfo Rebughini, general director of Veronafiere. A special thanks to the ICE Agency and the Ministry of Defense for supporting this initiative, which helped strengthen Marmomac's international presence and reinforce the role of natural stone in the global landscape.
