What an incredible experience at #INBOUND! 💯 👩💻 I had the opportunity to attend sessions with tactical applications to the work I do every day and more aspirational and inspiring sessions. Now that I've had time to sit with everything I've learned, here are my biggest takeaways: ⮕ There is a place for B2B advertisers in the CTV landscape. Many marketers see CTV as a purely brand awareness channel, but for B2Bers it can be a performance marketing channel. With niche products/services, Paid Search efforts can only capture so much demand. MNTN has unique levers within the platform that help build audiences based on keyword targeting - paid search 🤝 CTV. ⮕ HubSpot Breeze AI will transform how we operate within the platform, streamlining tasks such as report generation, content creation, and contact insights. By enhancing efficiency across these areas, Breeze AI will significantly elevate the way teams interact with and leverage their HubSpot ecosystem. ⮕ Influence is the new inbound. Your “2nd Party Data” is a valuable, untapped data source. Evaluate your buyer/customer ecosystem and look at your partner network. Working with partners to find gaps in your customer lists could give your sales teams easy targets to engage. ⮕ Email is an enduring medium – people will always be there and it can be a value-packed channel. Be warned: your list is a living, breathing thing and you have to clean up based on who is not engaging. It’s ok if this results in a smaller list. ⮕ Secret weapon from Dawn Dawson: Be an influencer where you are – look within your organization & empower employees as brand influencers. Utilize comments as your creative, and let your audience guide the creative you produce. ⮕ iOS 18 updates from Jay Schwedelson: Mail will now be broken down into 4 major buckets & it will become increasingly important for brands to get in the PRIMARY & UPDATES folders. AI trigger words will determine the buckets emails go into, so utilize those throughout your email content. 📥 ⮕ Search Everywhere Optimization: SEO is evolving into “Search Everywhere Optimization,” extending beyond traditional search engines. While your website and blog are still important, focus on leveraging social media, chatbots, and other platforms to shape your content strategy. 📲 ⮕ Remember the ‘be your own influencer’ bullet from above? AJ Wilcox agrees - personal, intimate videos filmed on an iPhone from your internal brand advocate are one of the strongest up-and-coming creative types for LinkedIn. On a personal note, I loved listening to Kat Cole from AG1. Something she said will stick with me forever; empathy and gratitude can bring out a dark side when it limits your ability to make a courageous decision. 👏 Could not agree more!
