This is #Prop400atWork! The last set of tracks were laid last month as part of the light rail South Central Extension! 🚆 The project, funded in part thanks to the dedicated half-cent sales tax for transportation, is set to open next year. 🎉 More than 59,000 feet of track has been installed across the entire 5.5-mile extension. Big changes ahead for the I-10 Wild Horse Pass Corridor thanks to #Prop400! Progress is already underway as constructions crews work on the widening of the Gila River bridges to make room for the future three-lane configuration of I-10 in this corridor. More than $220 million in funding through #Proposition400 is helping to support this project, as well as a $95 million INFRA grant to improve safety. This project will ultimately add an additional lane in each direction across the Gila River Indian Community, along with extended HOV lanes and reconstructed interchanges. This project will improve travel between Phoenix and Tucson and ensure safety. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g7RGf3tr #Prop400atWork
