A recent news article shared by DISTRIBUTECH shares proposed policy changes enacted by AEP Ohio regarding energy payments for data centers. The agreement, which is still subject to review by the PUCO (Public Utilities Commission of Ohio), would require large new data centers to pay for a minimum of 85% of the energy they say they need each month, even if they use less.
