Seven-year-old Sawyer's wish to go to Disney World has been granted. He had a great time meeting Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy, hanging out with the pilots of his plane, eating unlimited ice cream cones, and holding a baby alligator. His favorite ride at Disney World was Space Mountain. "The trip wasn’t just a vacation; it was a celebration of Sawyer’s strength and courage, a week where the world seemed to revolve around making him smile. Even now, he still talks about his favorite moments, from soaring through space on a roller coaster to playing with his beloved Disney characters. For Sawyer, Disney World wasn’t just the happiest place on Earth—it was a place where dreams, big and small, came true," his mom wrote.

Granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses
About us
Wishes are more than just a nice thing. A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a life-threatening medical condition. This one belief guides us in everything we do at Make-A-Wish®. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. It compels us to be creative in exceeding the expectations of every wish kid. It drives us to make our donated resources go as far as possible. Most of all, it's the founding principle of our vision to grant the wish of every eligible child. Wishes are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved - wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. The impact varies. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through volunteer work or philanthropy. Whatever the odds, whatever the obstacles ... wishes find a way to make the world better. We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Eight-year-old Kaycen's wish to go to Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado has been granted. Known for being a real sweetheart, Kaycen has been strong and brave in the face of his nervous system disorder. He chose to go to Great Wolf Lodge because he wanted to go on the fun and thrilling waterslides. He also won some prizes from the Pirate's Hook game in the arcade, played water basketball and enjoyed all the great food and desserts.

Five-year-old Randin's wish to go to Disney World has been granted! Randin, who has congenital heart disease, loves Toy Story, superheroes, and Mickey Mouse. Disney World is pretty much the world headquarters for all three of those things, so Randin's wish choice was a pretty easy one. At Disney World, Randin met Buzz and Woody, Mickey and Minnie as well as Pluto and Goofy.
