Nine-year-old Corbin's wish to have a shopping spree has been granted! Some of his bigger purchases included an Oculus VR headset, extravagant Lego sets, and a PlayStation Portal Player. Corbin's mom wrote us and said that “Corbin wanted me to tell everyone at Make-A-Wish thank you. It has been a while since I have seen him smile. Thank you again for your kind giving to him.”

Granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses
About us
Wishes are more than just a nice thing. A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a life-threatening medical condition. This one belief guides us in everything we do at Make-A-Wish®. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. It compels us to be creative in exceeding the expectations of every wish kid. It drives us to make our donated resources go as far as possible. Most of all, it's the founding principle of our vision to grant the wish of every eligible child. Wishes are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved - wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. The impact varies. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through volunteer work or philanthropy. Whatever the odds, whatever the obstacles ... wishes find a way to make the world better. We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Ten-year-old Easton's wish for a swimming pool has been granted! Easton has a rare disease that affects his balance and coordination, but in the pool he doesn't have to worry about all that. He can just have fun! The pool came fully loaded with a ladder, leaf skimmer, a cover, a filter, a pump and all the cleaning supplies to keep the water crisp and clear. Special thanks to Snake River Pool & Spa.

Seventeen-year-old Logan's wish for a shopping spree has been granted. His largest purchase was identical computers, one for him and one for his twin brother! Logan, who has cancer, still had some shopping spree funds leftover, so we sent a limo to his house in Caldwell, whisking him and his family to Best Buy in Boise where he picked out a laptop and some gift cards for his various gaming platforms. Afterwards, the family ate at Longhorn Steakhouse to celebrate the wish and then enjoyed another limo ride home. "Logan's excited, happy, and grateful. James (his brother) was in shock at the kindness of his twin brother. They are on their headsets helping each other get the towers setup. The bond is even stronger. Happiness is a big part of healing the body, and today brought happiness in bundles to a child. We are grateful for every day. Thank you to Make-A-Wish and everyone involved for bringing a child's wish to life,” his grandma wrote.

Seven-year-old Oliver's wish to go to Legoland has been granted! Oliver, who is in remission from leukemia, chose to go to Legoland because he has a passion for building. His favorite part was Driving School where he earned an offical Legoland Driver's License. He also liked the pool at Give Kids the World but getting to eat ice cream whenever he wanted there was pretty good, too. Oliver's dad said that "The wish reminded us of how much of a fighter this kid is. It was nice to have a moment to celebrate Oliver and his battle. It reminded us that two years ago, he was very sick and that he's come so far from being that kid. We're reminded that he's in remission, and that he's just a happy, little seven-year-old again."
