Michael Cain, MacPhail's director of EMRA (Electronic Music Recording Arts) and the founder of EKWE™, a mobile-based music platform that brings a new level of ease to digital music creation, is the keynote speaker at WAVEFRONT on Thursday, August 1 at 8:30 pm. (We've heard there are still a couple of RSVP tickets available - free). We love this concept. Not expensive (no charge to participants) and not just a networking event. Not a happy hour. Just a great way for Minnesota-based innovators, educators, entrepreneurs, and artists to exchange ideas and encourage community– for established and emerging talent alike. Michael will be speaking on the evolution of sound creation at 8:30. If you're there, make sure to say hello.
