Our Parks and Natural Resources group had a great turn out for its visioning session on the future of Reckling Park in Romeo. Thank you to all who came out and made your voice heard! As background, the park is named in memory of Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Reckling, who was a graduate of Romeo High School. Deputy Reckling was killed in the line of duty in June 2024.

⚠️LAST CALL//DEADLINE APPROACHING!⚠️ Want to become an advertiser in a Macomb County publication that reaches 45,000+ households? We've got opportunities in our December edition of Momentum Magazine! Momentum tells Macomb County stories ranging from economic development, to housing, to quality of life, and so much more. For more than a decade we've produced this magazine with the goal of highlighting our community and showcasing what makes it so special. It's a chance to build pride in our county, and share the people, places and things that might not get coverage elsewhere. But our department cannot print this publication on our own. We need your support as an advertiser to bring it to life. So please reach out. The deadline to participate is October 23. Email Megan Ochmanek at [email protected] with any questions.
