As we approach Indigenous Peoples Day on October 9, 2023, Mach 2 Underwriters will be observing this significant day by closing our offices. This day offers us the opportunity to pay tribute to the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Indigenous communities. In conjunction with our observance of Indigenous Peoples Day, we would like to highlight the remarkable achievements of Eula "Pearl" Carter Scott, a member of the Chickasaw Nation. A trailblazer and an inspiration, Pearl Scott became one of the youngest licensed pilots in the United States at the age of just 12 years old. Her determination, courage, and passion for aviation broke down barriers and paved the way for future generations of Indigenous individuals in the field. In keeping with the spirit of inclusivity and cultural understanding, our offices will be closed on October 9, 2023. We encourage you to take this time to reflect on the importance of recognizing and celebrating the diverse tapestry of cultures that make our world so vibrant. Thank you for joining us in honoring Indigenous Peoples Day and celebrating the legacy of individuals like Pearl Scott. Mach 2 Underwriters will resume regular operations on October 10th.
