So many high points from the National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) Annual Meeting, it’s hard to know where to begin. **A board meeting with such shared passion and true camaraderie that I always leave thinking hard and feeling fortunate to be amongst amazing thoughtful thinkers. Thank you for your leadership Leslie Davis, Jamie Rudman Kloosterman, Nelson Bellido, and Valerie Theng Matherne. **The very fun Sneaker Ball presented by The Movement and led by Kenneth Johnson. **The perfect Welcome Address by Al Vivian, Defending the Efficacy of DEI - “If you allow your opponent to define your actions, you allow your opponent to control your narrative. If your opponent controls your narrative, your opponent controls you.”  **So many great CLEs that this IP person even went to TWO super informative L&E CLEs and learned all kinds of things that made me remember why I chose trademark law. **A special mention to a fantastic CLE on Deep Fakes, Copyright, and the Right of Publicity presented by Heather Heft, Adam Rouse, Anne Komosso, IP PAC Co Chair Kelly Burris, and my partner, Will Chadwick. Some great learnings to be thinking about for my clients! It’s so challenging to talk about a developing area of the law but this group BROUGHT it and are the forefront in this field. **The pipeline scholarships awarded this year were incredible. I am so glad I had Kleenex – gets me every year! **Stacy. Abrams! “Be Curious, Solve a Problem, Do Good.”  **A special dinner with my partner, friends, and fellow trademark nerds Eryn Truong, Anna Brook, Caroline Morgan, Heather Heft, and Lisa Jakob.  **A good time with so many NAMWOLF friends and my partners Eryn Truong, Will Chadwick, and Julio Loza. It’s so nice to be together! **HOORAH to Lisa Jakob for the well deserved Outstanding Service award. She’s a champion for equal opportunity and it’s tremendous to see her at work! There’s no way that a conference like this comes together without so much hard work and a consistent dedication to our mission – thank you thank you thank you to Jane Kalata, Sherisse Rodriguez, Andrea Torres, and Laci Roth. Wow – what a conference!   Phew, I am beat. Thank God it’s Friday!
