The Democratic National Convention is over. Now what? Our client webinar yesterday featured Mike Townsend, Charles Schwab's Washington-based analyst, whose timely, insightful commentary provided important context and perspective. A few of the takeaways:

Bring Your Kid (Or Parent) to Work Day was a big hit in our Seattle office! The day was all about connection, education and pure fun for our team and loved ones. All in all, we had around 20 children (some descendants, some nieces/nephews, some friend's kids) and four parents that joined in on the fun. Activities included a scavenger hunt, resume building exercise, interactive sessions, swag and of course lunch. Volunteers were tapped from every department to share with this diverse group of guests all about LNW. At the end of the day, we had so many people who participated from start to finish - whether it was to bring a guest, lead a portion of the scavenger hunt, sit in at lunch, high five the kids as they ran around the office or make sure that there was enough pizza and hot cocoa available. Thanks to everyone who joined us and who helped make the event such fun!
