Did you know that a third of the UK don’t have a savings account* (or less than £1,000)? That’s why the team behind our app have launched Save & Invest. We first rolled this out last year to a small group of our customers who loved it – so we’ve done the sensible thing, and introduced it to all 19m users of our mobile app. Through updates like these we’re aiming to empower customers to make the most of their money, now and in the future. *Data from Money.co.uk

British Sign Language translations are now available on the job pages of our website. You may be thinking, "why do you need BSL translations on text?" Well, it's the same reason we've added captions to this video - to ensure everyone has access to the same information and opportunities. Over to Tim from Signly to explain more.

While it’s back to school for many this week, our colleagues set some fun homework for their little ones over the summer...   We asked them to draw what they think their parent does for work, and the creations from our mini-Picassos are priceless! 🎨🥰 Check out the masterpieces and let us know which one is your favourite? 👇

“It’s a pretty big deal for first-time buyers” This is how our Mortgages team introduced their new First-time Buyer Boost to us. And they weren’t wrong. With this new deal, eligible customers could borrow up to 5.5 times their income.   For example, if a couple had a household income of £50,000, the maximum amount the customer could borrow at the minute is £224,500. With this new enhanced loan to income, they could borrow up to £275,000.

🎤 Don’t look back in anger when buying Oasis tickets!   Oasis reunion tickets are set to sell out at ‘supersonic’ speed. But fraudsters will be ready to ‘slide away’ with fans’ cash. Here’s how to avoid 'crying your heart out' when buying tickets: ✔️ Only purchase tickets from well-known, official ticket selling (or official reselling) platforms. Take extra precautions when buying tickets from third-party sellers. ✔️ Be cautious on social media. It’s easy for fraudsters to create fake ads including pictures of real tickets. ✔️ Avoid deals that look too good to be true. Tickets for sale at low prices or for sold-out events should ring alarm bells. Ask yourself if the deal seems realistic. ✔️ Be wary of payments that are requested to be paid via bank transfer. This adds to the likelihood of it being a scam.

Hello, I’m Christopher I've been part of the Risk Division here since 2004, but a lot’s changed in 20 years. I remember during my first interview I was told there’d be plenty of opportunities for training and development. I’ve not only progressed up to Risk Manager, but also gained professional qualifications along the way. So, they weren’t wrong! What do we do in Credit Risk? A big focus is looking at behaviours across all our customers. We use this insight to understand what works best for them so we can transform to provide the best outcomes for everyone. It’s a big responsibility but I find it so rewarding. Being an Analyst is quite a technical job. Day to day you’re programming, using mathematics and analysing data, so it’s great that our flex working means I can also take time to exercise for my wellbeing. Work helps me be my best so I can do the best for our customers. Find out more about my LBG story: https://lnkd.in/e-gCXjqP #LoveToWorkAtLBG

We recently had some complaints about our International Cat Day post 🙀 Were all those complaints from the LBG dogs wondering why their excellent WFH helping wasn't being recognised too? Yes. Yes they were. Today's International Dog Day, so here's just a handful of perfect puppers who work very hard at brightening our colleagues' days. Share yours in the comments! P.S. To the pups that complained, no we're not changing our name to Lloyds Barking Group. 🐶 #InternationalDogDay #LoveToWorkAtLBG
