This past Friday, Littleton Police, Rhett Comfort Dog, Littleton MA Police K9 Unit Littleton Fire Department , and the Littleton Highway had an incredible time at the "Touch a Truck" event at The Learning Experience School! We were also thrilled to be joined by our friends from the Westford Police Department with their Pink Patch Cruiser. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with children at this school. Officers routine traffic stop quickly turned into something special. Instead of just a quick conversation, Ilyas A. took the time to engage with the kids in the car, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a memorable experience. The kids were thrilled to get a surprise tour of the police car and learn about the tools and technology that keep our community safe. As a result, we honor these youngsters as our Junior Officer of the Day! #JuniorOfficer

Congratulations to Adam Zaferacopoulos on being appointed as a full-time police officer by the Littleton Select Board. Adam was raised in Littleton, he previously served as police intern and full time communication officer. Currently, Adam is set to complete the Lowell Police Academy and upon completion, he will undergo Field Training Program with an assigned training officer. Adam's dedication and commitment to serving our community is truly inspiring. We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will continue to make in his new role.
