It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Leonard Potter, former President, Director and valued leader at Littlestown Foundry, Inc. Through Leonard’s 55 years of service, he dedicated his life to the foundry business. His passion and strong leadership qualities helped create our state-of-the-art foundry that we pride ourselves on today. Most of our aluminum production expansion and continuous improvements were a direct result of his leadership. In 1996 he was honored with the Frishmuth Award as the Aluminum Foundryman of the Year. Leonard’s leadership extended well beyond Littlestown Foundry; among Leonard’s many organization affiliations, he was a former chairman of the Chesapeake Chapter of the American Foundry Society and former president of the Rotary Club of Littlestown, to name a few. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact he made on our company and in our lives, Leonard will be greatly missed.
