About us

A team of Certified Mental Performance Consultants (CMPC®) operating at the intersection of psychological performance and well-being. Our Mission ⇣ Limitless potential for achievement exists within all of us, and so does a natural tendency toward pursuing that potential. With a combination of our life experience, education, training, and performance backgrounds, our goal is to help expand the client’s idea of what is possible, looking to the values and strengths of those we work with as a roadmap to determine the way. Along this road, we equip our performers with tools to increase proficiency in a variety of cognitive processes and self-regulation skills, effectively building out a “mental toolbox” that is unique to them. The ultimate goal is to enable each of our clients to be consistent and successful when working with their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; in any context. Our Philosophy ⇣ We are dedicated to providing high-quality services (criteria: professional, detailed, transferable, culturally-responsive, contextually relevant, & evidence-based) and have an emphasis on purpose-driven work. • Happy Saturday! This week’s message comes from renowned writer and speaker, James Clear. James is widely known among performance psychology enthusiasts, and for good reason. He’s the author of the popular 3-2-1 weekly newsletter, frequently inspiring us, and the acclaimed book Atomic Habits, now with over 20 million copies sold worldwide. As James encourages, paying attention to the small changes you make in pursuit of your goals is essential. These seemingly minor wins accumulate over time, leading to powerful behavior reinforcement and long-term growth. At the end of the day, we are truly a product of our habits. And as the phrase goes, first, you make your habits, then your habits make you. - Are your routines moving you closer to your goals? - Do your actions align with your values? - Are your daily decisions helping you grow into someone you'd look up to? 🔗🌲 Discover more about how to build better habits and learn more about James Clear by following the link in our bio! ✌️Cheers, peers! ------------------------------------- #performancepsychology #sportpsychology #atomichabits #routine #smallwins #bigchanges #habitsmatter

  • Happy Monday, everyone! ☀️ 🎧 This week, we’re excited to introduce a must-listen podcast to your lineup: Mentor Buffet by Olympic runner and filmmaker @alexipappas. "Mentor Buffet is a podcast where Alexi Pappas talks to athletes, actors, movie producers, DJs, chefs, authors, and other people she admires about who has influenced them along their journey. The truth is we live in a complex world and it’s much easier to succeed with some guidance. Asking for help is a superpower that everybody has but only some people use. For the duration of a podcast episode, Alexi and our guests will be mentors to you too." 🚀 Whether you're an athlete, creative, or entrepreneur, having mentors is crucial for long-term growth and high performance. As Alexi shares, finding mentors is not a passive process, and simply asking for help can be a powerful first step. 🌱 Notable guests so far include Rainn Wilson, Zach Braff, Diplo, and Melissa Villaseñor—each offering unique insights into their own journeys. 💡 Head to the ‘Media Monday’ section of our LinkTree to check out @mentorbuffet and other recommendations to fuel your week! ✌️ Let’s make it a great one! --------------------- #limitless #performance #psychology #mentorbuffet #alexipappas #bravey

  • ☀️ Happy Sunday! 🎙 This week we're sharing a moment from @thebombhole - a snowboard podcast that features the stories and mindsets of top snowboard athletes and other members of the snowboarding culture. 💭 Episode 116 of this podcast features professional snowboarder Rob Roethler, a Burton rider hailing from Minnesota. This quick snippet from their conversation was worth noting, as he is effectively training his visualization skills in his sleep. 💤 As he states, he is preparing for the "desired scene" before sleeping and then journaling throughout/upon waking up. 💡 This is an awesome way to train the skill of visualization. When you do so, try to involve all of the senses and make it as vivid as you can, while paying attention to how you're able to control the image and situation as a whole. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gnchs3mT ------------------------------ #performance #sport #psychology #dreams #visualize #journal

  • Happy Monday, everyone! 🌍 This week's find is a writing piece by Matt Prior, an adventurer, pilot, photographer and so much more. The guy is impressive to say the least, and this caption would be really long if I went further, so go learn more about him @mattprioruk and/or via the links in our bio. 📝 This article looks at the concept of understanding fear, befriending it, and learning ways that you can channel it to overcome difficult scenarios. It makes you wonder how we can reframe emotions such as this to work for us rather than against us. 🔗🌲 Read this article here: https://lnkd.in/gquFrguF --------------------- #limitless #performance #psychology #channel #fear

  • ✏️ Happy Sunday! Mike’s next blog looks at the concept of appreciating your “valued circles.” 🔗 In this piece, it’s all about the action. What are each of us doing to maintain and appreciate the social ties that we have in life? 🔦 Here, Mike provides an opportunity to look at each human within our social networks and appreciate them simply for who they are. Without judgment, he prompts the reader to imagine each person in the mind’s eye, acknowledging their role, shared meaning, and overall place in the reader’s life. 🧃 https://lnkd.in/gPnHtkmU -——————————— #limitless #performance #psychology #writing #appreciation #community

  • Hello everyone! As we wrap up this week and welcome a new one, we’d like to share a grounding message from the renowned author Eckhart Tolle. In his book The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment, Tolle emphasizes the importance of staying fully present. The past is gone, the future uncertain, but the now is where we have real power. When we focus on the present, we can find peace, clarity, and purpose—key qualities for personal growth and performance. While simple in concept, mindfulness is challenging in a world full of distractions. We're often planning ahead or dwelling on the past. Yet, being truly present is a skill that can be nurtured over time, and it’s foundational for anyone striving to reach their potential, whether in sports, work, or life. As you move through your day, take a moment to breathe and to consider how Tolle’s message might apply to your own journey. How can you practice being more present, not just in moments of stillness, but in the midst of your busy routine? How could this shift in perspective help you achieve your goals? Be here now. Be where your feet are.  ------------------------------ #limitless #mental #performance #sport #psychology #mindful #powerofnow

  • Happy Monday, everyone! 📖 This week, we’re getting back to basics by sharing one of our current favorite reads: The Fear Project by Jaimal Yogis. This book takes you on an eye-opening journey into the science of fear—why it has such a grip on us, what drives it, and most importantly, how we can use it to our advantage. 🏄 As a surfer and journalist, Yogis dives deep into both extreme adventures and cutting-edge research. From facing great white sharks and surfing towering 40-foot waves in the dead of winter, to exploring neuroscience labs and interviewing top psychologists, he takes readers on an unforgettable quest to understand fear in all its forms. Here’s what you’ll discover in the book: - How fear evolved in the human brain - The difference between “good fear” and “bad fear” - How to rewire your brain’s fear memories using the latest neuroscience - Why fear spreads in groups and how to counteract it - How to turn fear into a tool for peak performance—in sports and life - And so much more! “In this entertaining and often laugh-out-loud narrative, Yogis treats himself as a test subject, pushing his own fears to the limits in his sport, life, and relationships. Ultimately, he shares the best strategies for overcoming even the most paralyzing fears.” 💡 Check out The Fear Project and more recommendations in the ‘Media Monday’ section of our LinkTree! If you love adventure, meditation, or surfing, this one’s for you. ✌️ Have an awesome week, and let us know in the comments: How do you work with fear? --------------------- #limitless #performance #psychology #thefearproject #surfing #survival #success
