We are thrilled to announce the close of our $6M Series A financing led by HealthX Ventures, with participation from Incite.org Ventures, AllerFund, Mendota Venture Capital, Great Oaks Venture Capital, and individuals like e-comm pioneer, Pinterest executive, and Daydream founder Julie Bornstein, and serial founder and investor Diede van Lamoen. These funds will enable us to carry out a full consumer launch for Allergy Amulet, and further explore partnerships for our commercial brand, Amulet Scientific. This was no small feat—approximately 2% of venture funding goes to female founders, and we are experiencing one of the most challenging fundraising climates in over a decade. Lightship Capital put on a wonderful event in NYC this week. We were blessed to have members of the NYC finance community join us in discussions about the Lightship Anchor Fund, it's size and impact, and how we all can play a role to move the ball forward equitably. We also celebrated the brilliant work of Ben Wolstenholme, and his CHROMA Series, highlighting people of the African diaspora who have changed the world.
