The ⛓️help chain⛓️ is critical part of Daily Management. The help chain establishes a systematic way of triggering different levels of knowledge and responsibilities to solve a problem. If a problem can't be solved at the frontline level, then there must be a systematic way to get help from above. Leadership must create an environment where teams understand that asking for help is not a sign of weakness. Employees should feel free to ask for and offer help. The idea that flattening organizations is necessary to improve communication and efficiency is a traditional view of command-and-control management. In contrast, lean management provides the appropriate layers needed to provide proper levels of support. Stay tuned for LEI's upcoming book:📙Daily Management to Execute Strategy📙 #LeanManagement #Strategy #DailyManagement #Lean #Management

Leaders at all levels play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a company’s workplace culture. When you hold negative assumptions about team members, these beliefs influence not only the employee experience, but also how the organization functions overall. Recently, 14 other Forbes Coaches Council members and I share some of the negative beliefs we've observed that managers may have about the team members they lead and must rely on to deliver results. Here's my top observation about limiting beliefs and the number shift leader's can make to engage people (what I call "Break the Telling Habit"!)
