Many workplaces grapple with the aftermath of harm in the workplace. More generally, managing conflict in the workplace is also one of the most difficult workplace culture challenges. There are many reasons leaders and people managers will find this new report from our friends at SRE Network valuable.
The days between #RoshHashanah and #YomKippur (Aseret Y’mei T’shuvah / 10 Days of Repentance) offer us a profound opportunity to reflect on the impact of our words and actions, to acknowledge the harm caused, to identify areas for growth, and to examine the ways we can act to repair the world. During this period, we invite you to engage in meaningful reflection with prompts inspired by a new report by Dr. Alissa A. and Dr. Guila Benchimol, "Reflections on Restorative Justice: The Messy Magic" {https://lnkd.in/eaDHTtkr} which considers how Jewish organizations can use the sacred process of restorative justice to take accountability and repair harm while building safe, respectful, and equitable workplaces. Post your thoughts in the comments, and discuss them with friends and colleagues. To begin, we reflect on the following: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? #TheMessyMagic #5785
