About us
At KVC Health Systems, our 2,400 caring team members work every day to strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect, and help both children and adults achieve mental wellness. We all need connection! And at KVC, our employees are our greatest asset and strength, helping the people we serve experience the power of connection to themselves, their family and friends, and to professionals who can help them thrive. We're working toward a bold vision: a world in which every person is SAFE and CONNECTED to a strong family and a healthy community. No more child abuse and neglect. No more untreated mental illness or addiction. Parents no longer pass down the cycles of violence, substance use or trauma that they experienced as children. Instead, families have the skills and supportive connections they need to thrive. Every individual has unlimited possibilities and can reach their full potential. This is why the KVC team comes to work every day, providing family strengthening services, mental and behavioral healthcare, foster care, adoption and inpatient children’s mental health treatment. People are facing serious challenges, and community needs are greater than ever. Will you join us? Since 1970, KVC has grown from a single home for at-risk children to a national organization serving over 80,000 children and families each year in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Kentucky and West Virginia. KVC also provides training and consultation around the world. We're a family of private, nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations committed to enriching and enhancing the lives of children and families. We’ve helped match 6,844 children with loving adoptive families in our history and helped 337 children find their forever homes this year. Every child deserves the security that comes from having a permanent, loving family. Thanks so much to our dedicated team members who helped so many children achieve permanency! And congratulations to the families that are now officially forever families! Check out some families that KVC recently helped bring together. https://hubs.ly/Q02WZ_7-0

Keep connected with KVC! Check out some highlights from our teams across the regions we serve: 💙KVC Kentucky had a spooktacular time we had celebrating Halloween! A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this celebration unforgettable! Check out their amazing costumes. 💙One of our Nebraska teams participated in the Omaha Corporate Games for fun and competition, participating in Bocce Ball, Golf and Electronic Darts. They also embraced virtual events: a 7-mile bike ride, a 5K walk/run and a canned food drive! They also hosted a flu shot clinic to keep our community healthy. 💙 One of our teams of Family Care Coordinators bonded as they painted festive fall scenes. From laughter to learning, this dynamic group is building stronger connections every day! 💙One of our Missouri Community-Based Service teams was honored to cohost the Child Abuse and Domestic Violence Conference, alongside the CADV Taskforce. Shout out to Michael T., Director of CBS, for helping lead such an impactful event. Together, we're continuing to raise awareness and foster collaboration to prevent child abuse and domestic violence.
