We want to thank everyone who was involved in the 2024 Kroger Wellness Festival. At Kroger, safety is one of our core values. After several discussions with city officials and meteorologists, our Kroger Wellness Festival planning team made the difficult decision to cancel the festival due to safety concerns resulting from the impacts of Hurricane Helene. Amid the cancelation, we are collaborating with festival vendors and Matthew 25: Ministries to donate unused vendor products from the festival that are in good condition to hurricane relief efforts. We’re excited to welcome thousands to our annual Kroger Wellness Festival this weekend, September 27 and 28 from 11 am – 7 pm in Downtown Cincinnati. Among celebrities, free concerts and panels, we have an opportunity to set a Guinness World Record that focuses on helping those in need. If you’re attending the festival, please consider attending the Safe, Sustainable Wellness panel on Saturday morning, which will provide an opportunity for attendees to set the record for the largest number of people who are trained on Narcan administration. Last week, Registered Dietitian Elizabeth Calvelage and Senior Market Access Leader Ryan Davis, were part of a Food as Medicine panel at the 125th Cincinnati Open Fan Zone. They chatted with Tallon Griekspoor, professional tennis player on the power of food and nutrition on health and wellness and shared the benefits of Kroger Boost membership as back-to-school season arrives.
