Say Hello to Kona Ice's newest Franchisees! Please welcome Caden, Randy, Michael, and Kaylee! CADEN HERNANDEZ has worked as a Kona Ice manager in the Yukon/Mustang, OK area for the past four years. He absolutely loved it and the owners encouraged him to look into a franchise. He and his brother Caleb purchased a territory in the Central Tulsa area and have already been working events. RANDY GRAMA has owned an electronics and cellular part distribution company in Las Vegas for 20+ years.   He saw a Kona truck at a food festival in LA a while back and recognized it as just the change in lifestyle he needed. His two young daughters agreed. He’s already met and served with several of his welcoming neighbors in Vegas so he is off to an outstanding start. MICHAEL DUMAS is a deep sea fisherman who plans to spend more time on shore in Hialeah, Florida on KEV 1767! He was SOLD on Kona when he saw the look in his daughter Olivia’s eyes when she saw the truck. After some research, he was so impressed by our business model, he purchased a Kona territory six weeks later. He is more than ready! KAYLEE RODRIGUEZ is one of our youngest franchisees ever. She has been an entrepreneur running her own cake baking business in her native Miami, FL since she was fifteen. She saw a Kona truck and told her mom she would own one someday. Well, we are seeing that dream come true right here.

We are proud to share that Kona Ice was the Presenting Sponsor of the 2024 Special Olympics Kentucky Summer Games held on June 1st at EKU in Richmond, KY! Over 1,000 athletes from the state competed in the event. Guests who visited Olympic Town were able to participate in games and prizes from Kona, including a make-your-own snowman contest and a snowball throwing competition. In addition to the games and prizes, Kona's two sister brands were in attendance and gave away free products. Guests enjoyed fresh, warm cookies from Beverly Ann's Cookie Truck and ice-cold beverages from Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck.
