Koko is on a mission to end the youth mental health crisis.
About us
At Koko, our mission is bold but clear: end the youth mental health crisis, by reaching young people where they are. Here’s how it works: When young people seek out harmful content via social media, we can get them help if we are partnered with the platform. Everything Koko does starts with ethical commitments, third party review and the willingness to change. Koko redirects at-risk users on platforms to free helplines, peer support, and self-help courses. To date, we’ve reached over 4 million people, and we’re just getting started. In fact, 91% of those who interact with Koko find it helpful! We're not just an initiative; we're a movement. Our vision is a future where mental health support is universally accessible, free, and integrated seamlessly into the digital experience of every young individual. And we need your help to get there. To learn more about partnering with Koko, or to donate, visit: https://www.kokocares.org

On April 2nd, we recognize World Autism Awareness Day—a day dedicated to raising awareness about autism spectrum disorders (ASD). In the U.S., about 4 in 100 boys and 1 in 100 girls have autism. But being autistic does not mean you have an illness or disease. It means your brain works in a different way from other people. It's something you're born with. At Koko, we're committed to raising awareness, providing education, and offering mental health resources for everyone, including for those with autism. Let's foster empathy, embrace acceptance, and empower everyone on their individual mental health journey.
