It's starting to get darker earlier, and that means turning on more lights. Switching to LED bulbs is a great way to save some energy! Also make sure to turn off lights and other electronics as you leave a room. Learn more about saving energy, water, and money at kub.org/save.

In 1939, the City of Knoxville amended its city charter to create an independent board to manage water and power. This newly formed board would eventually grow to incorporate gas, wastewater, and fiber optic internet. We are proud and honored to have served our community for 85 years. To commemorate this milestone, we’re looking back through our archives! Check out these KUB buildings throughout the years. 1. Our original headquarters at 626 Gay St., now home to Tombras. 2. Miller’s Building under renovation after KUB and the City save it from demolition. 3. Hoskins Operations Center, our Middlebrook campus, under construction. 4. Crews removing our logo from 626 Gay St.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this #NationalDriveElectricWeek to celebrate the addition of new public electric vehicle (EV) fast charging stations in KUB's service area! These stations in Seymour and downtown Knoxville are part of the Fast Charge Tennessee Network. Thanks to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), and Seven States Power Corporation for letting us be part of this initiative that aims to make driving easier for EV drivers. These charging stations are the 99th and 100th to open as part of this partnership, marking an exciting milestone for the Fast Charge Tennessee Network. The station in Seymour is located at Food City and is now open for use. The downtown Knoxville station is located on Central Street just behind State Street Garage and is set to open soon. Learn more about our support for electric vehicle adoption at www.kub.org/ev.
