https://lnkd.in/eEg2nyWR The NCAA took a step forward in addressing a persistent gender inequity in its revenue distribution plan with a proposal to provide financial incentives for the success of women’s basketball teams in its March Madness tournament but much work remains. The NCAA has rewarded men’s basketball teams’ success since 1991and the proposed plan will have an incentive gap of over $150 million annually when compared to the rewards for men’s basketball success.
