Here at Kichler we have made a commitment to mentorship as a way to help connect people at all levels of our organization and in every part of our business. Today I had the first conversation in our next round of mentoring, and it was filled with learning (on both sides), laughter, and a nostalgic chat about soft pretzels, cheesesteaks, and Jersey diners! Over the course of my career I have been both encouraged and challenged by mentors who invested their scarce time to help me grow, and I'm honored to be in a position to do the same for others. Mentoring may be the most efficient way to develop talent, and for a remote-first organization like ours it's a great way to build relationships and trust.
