Team Kellymoss is excited to return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend for IMSA's Battle on the Bricks for Porsche Carrera Cup North America!

During the Porsche Carrera Cup North America stop at Road America, Yokohama, Kellymoss Inc Racing and Porsche Motorsport North America hosted Girl Scouts from two nearby councils: Girls Scouts of Manitou and Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast. The scouts, ages 12-19, were the first recipients of the ‘Motorsports Mastery’ badge created by Kellymoss Racing co-owner and CFO, Victoria Thomas, to showcase the many career opportunities available in motorsports. To earn the ‘Motorsports Mastery’ badge, scouts engaged in 5 activities while at the track: ·      Balanced tires using a wheel balancing machine and applied tire stickers on race tires at Yokohama’s tire service rig. ·      Drove several laps around Road America on the PenFed Credit Union simulator under the guidance of Team Yokohama athlete and Porsche Sprint Challenge North America driver, Ashley Freiberg. ·      Generated press release headlines for Kellymoss Racing’s PR department. ·      Teamed with Kellymoss Racing’s logistics group to book travel and create travel itineraries for team members. ·      Practiced pit stops by changing real racing tires used on the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this successful event. At Yokohama we celebrate days like today, National Women’s Equality Day, and continue to drive for women’s equality in motorsports. Girl Scouts of Central Indiana will have an opportunity to earn a Motorsports Mastery badge at Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks on Saturday September 21.
