The KC Tech Council is thrilled to announce the publication of Tech Specs v.07. Year over year, Kansas City continues to shine bright and the outlook is strong for the industry. Most notably: -Tech jobs have grown in Kansas City by 16% since the pandemic Density is a major strength of KC's tech industry. KC has more tech jobs per capita than cities like Houston, Chicago, Nashville, and St. Louis. -KC's tech workforce grew 16% from 2021-2023. The momentum of tech workforce growth ranks Kansas City #6 across the U.S., alongside established tech hubs like Silicon Valley, Boston, Los Angeles, and New York. -Regional demand for cybersecurity professionals has surged 85% since 2021.
