It was a pleasure having the string quartet Innocenti Strings perform at the Ensemble PNC Pop-Up this week at the Kauffman Center. From the networking reception to the private performance, both held in Brandmeyer Great Hall, the quartet set the mood with their modern twist on classical music. Some of the more popular songs included "Beautiful Day" by U2, "Don’t Stop Believin'" by Journey, "Hey Jude" by The Beatles and "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift. Ensemble is the Kauffman Center’s business membership program consisting of 80 businesses in the KC metro area and is presented by PNC. Businesses join Ensemble to network with others, grow their business, reward their employees and support the arts. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/g6Fe3AbE. Employees across the KC Metro area gathered for happy hour with the best view in Kansas City at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. More than 100 guests celebrated the Ensemble Young Professionals Happy Hour & Open House and enjoyed complimentary food and drinks (including dragon's breath), live music by Matt Shoaf, tours of both performance halls and professional headshots by Tyler Walker at KCPRO Headshots. Patrons enjoyed the artistry of world-renowned musician and Grammy-nominated organist Cameron Carpenter in the Kauffman Center’s Helzberg Hall on Tuesday. We are still awestruck from the breathtaking sounds created from the Julia Irene Dennie-Kauffman Casavant Organ, Opus 3875. This memorable evening and free concert were made possible by Saint Luke's Health System in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Photos by Don Ipock.

Last week, Spotlight Premier members were treated to a beautiful reception and dinner in the Kauffman Center. This annual dinner, which ushers in the fall performance season, is one of the many ways we thank these special donors for their generosity and dedication to the performing arts. With the stunning Kansas City skyline as the backdrop, guests toasted to the new season with bubbly from the 360picKC Champagne Wall. Photos 1, 3 by John McGrath; Photo 2 courtesy of Carol Smith.
