In this role, Carl served as the Contributing Editor, setting the tone for the entire Guide. His responsibilities included overseeing the introduction, developing the topics and questions for each chapter, and nominating the law firms authoring the jurisdictional chapters. Several of our talented Financial Markets and Funds team members in the United States and the United Kingdom co-authored portions of the Guide. The sky is the limit! ✈️ On August 24, Katten sponsored and participated in the Special Olympics Southern California’s annual Plane Pull event at the Long Beach International Airport, competing with other teams to pull a 124,000-pound Boeing 737 jet down the runway. In our largest showing yet, Katten formed two teams of 25 attorneys, business professionals, friends and family and was the third-highest fundraising group this year, contributing over $11,000 to the total of $180,000 raised, which will go toward enriching the lives of athletes with intellectual disabilities through sports, health and leadership programs.
