Today, we honor and remember the countless lives lost 23 years ago and the first responders who answered the call. In the aftermath, many service members felt compelled to enlist and protect our country, including Army Veteran Cesar. Living in New York and seeing the planes flying overhead that day, solidified his decision to serve. Thank you for your service, today and every day. #NeverForget
Thomas tried various medications and therapists but felt his family would be better off without him. His PTSD from his time in the Army nearly cost him his life. Since graduating with his Service Dog Titan last year, he has found inner peace for the first time in nearly 20 years. "He has given me hope that I can get my life back." Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay. If you or someone you know needs help, call or text 988 for the 24/7 confidential hotline. If you are a Veteran, please call 988 and press 1.
