Congratulations to the City of San Marcos, CA for completing their largest capital improvement project to date! The Creek project has been decades in the making, over three decades to be more precise, and it is so exciting to see this hard work pay off. We are proud of our partners at San Marcos for the countless hours they put in to make this dream a reality for their community. Special thanks to Isaac Etchamendy for leading our team on this long journey. We have been so fortunate to work on this project and feel honored to be a part of such a historic moment for the city. The Creek project consisted of the following improvements: 🥾 Building a 1.2 mile loop trail 🏗 Building two new bridges on Via Vera Cruz and Bent Avenue 🌿 Restoring over 1.5 miles of Creek habitat 🚘 Expanding Discovery Street from two to four lanes 🐦 And much, much more To learn more about our work on the project, visit our website and read our case study: https://lnkd.in/g2tnXq35. #SanMarcosCreek #OurNeighborhood #OurCreek #SanMarcos

Is a strategic plan just a trick of the trade or a treat for all who use one? Here at JPW, we find that having a strategic communication plan helps prepare your team for any future potential tricks 👻 . Let’s break down why we think a solid plan always wins. 📄Getting everyone on the same page: When people see different writing styles or social media practices across your platforms, it can come off as unorganized. Having one centralized plan for internal and external communications helps present your team as one cohesive unit. 🗂Onboarding for new employees: By incorporating your strategic communication plan into your onboarding process, you can prepare new employees to seamlessly transition into their role. It helps take out the questions on how to communicate something when the program is laid out right in front of them. 📓Reference guide: Having a plan in place acts as a quick and easy best practices reference guide that can be accessed at all times. It also acts as a breathing document where updates can be made in real time as changes happen to your organization. What do you think? Let us know if the comments below if you find strategic communication plans a trick or a treat 🎃. #StrategicCommunications #beprepared #preparednotscared #localgov

Picture this: you’re trapped in a dark, haunted house. No lights, no guide, just you wandering aimlessly through endless corridors. Every corner feels like a dead end, and the fear of the unknown is creeping in. That’s what it’s like to tackle a project without a clear strategy—lost in the shadows with no direction. Your strategy is your flashlight, illuminating the path ahead, minimizing roadblocks, and providing a roadmap to success. A solid strategy is key to survival, offering: 1. Preparedness: Keeps you equipped to handle unexpected frights or obstacles 2. Guidance: Acts as your map, ensuring you take the right turns and avoid dead ends 3. Illumination: Sheds light on hidden opportunities and risks lurking in the dark 4. Confidence: Keeps you from panicking when things get eerie 5. Efficiency: Helps you avoid wasting time and energy on dead ends How has your organization used a strategy to navigate uncertainty and ensure success? #Strategy #CommunicationsStrategy #MarketingStrategy

Let’s take a moment to reflect on how the color orange, a fall mainstay and one of our brand's colors, represents the strategies we aim to create. 🍁🧡 🎃 Turns out, there are lots of connections to our quarterly focus on strategic planning. Here's a quick rundown of how orange can inspire your planning efforts: Enthusiasm and energy: A lively hue, orange is the color equivalent of a pep rally. Bold, peppy and hard to miss, your plans need to communicate a vision for the future. Grab your shades. Attention-Grabbing: Orange is not a subdue color, and your plans should not be meek either. Make them bold and forward-looking to help inspire the advocates and helpers you'll need. Safety: Just as orange ensures visibility of safety signage, your plans need to be clear and easy to understand. Caution: planning this way. Creativity: Think anew with fresh perspectives to make sure that your strategies are never stale. As orange is to black, you are to ingenuity. Change and Movement: Orange represents change and the transition of seasons. Embrace this attribute by staying adaptable and open to evolving your strategy as needed. As Halloween brings this vibrant color to life, let it inspire enthusiasm, attention and creativity to your planning! 🧡

For us, Halloween is about sweets, spooks and the start of the holiday ad season. Brands always bring their best this time of year. Here are a few that are catching our eye. 👀 👻 🌯Chipotle's Boorito: Chipotle's Halloween Boorito is an example of how brands can leverage the holiday season to increase customer engagement. By encouraging customers to dress up in costumes to receive a discounted burrito, Chipotle adds a fun atmosphere to their dining experience. The brand amplifies their marketing strategy through the hashtag #Boorito. This content strategy effectively engages customers while boosting their brand visibility. 🧛 🍟McDonald's Vampire Fang Fries: McDonalds is serving up some Halloween fun with their Vampire Fang Fries campaign, amplifying a classic staple. Their eye-catching packaging and playful design makes this product stand out, inviting customers to indulge in their favorite fries. 🍫 ✨Kit-Kat's Endless Trick-or-Treat Bowl: KitKat created a Halloween candy bowl that refills itself, ensuring that you'll never have to settle for just one! Known for their marketing around sharing, this campaign perfectly embodies that spirit, inviting everyone to enjoy a Kit-Kat this holiday season. 🥤📖 Gatorade's Scary Stories Campaign: Gatorade is pouring creativity into their Halloween campaign by combining the thrill of spooky storytelling with hydration and endurance. Their message is all about being prepared for any scary situation, shown in the tagline "In horror stories, only those who run save themselves."
