Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay! Established by the World Federation for Mental Health on October 10th, 1992, this day is dedicated to raising global awareness and supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. We're honored to work with clients like Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and The Physicians Foundation, who are making a lasting impact in mental health care and support. SAMHSA leads public health efforts to advance the nation's behavioral health. Through initiatives like National Prevention Week, Recovery Month, and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, SAMHSA provides vital resources and services to promote mental health, prevent substance misuse, and support recovery from substance use conditions. This year's World Mental Health Day theme, "It's Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace," aligns with the mission of the Physicians Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to prioritizing the well-being and mental health of physicians. The Physicians Foundation’s recent survey, released in recognition of National Physician Suicide Awareness Day (#NPSADay) on Sep. 17., revealed that the state of current and future physician wellbeing remains low, and there is an urgent need for solutions to address burnout and improve mental health. Their efforts are crucial in ensuring that physicians are supported and empowered to deliver the best care possible. They are dedicated to improving physician well-being, strengthening leadership, and enhancing the physician-patient relationship.
