Latinas represent 9% of the population, but only 1% enter the C-Suite. This disparity calls for real action, and this Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, we’ve seen how change can happen with meaningful steps. That’s why we gathered leaders like Anna Dapelo-Garcia Founder and President of Lean In Latinas, and Hady Mendez, Founder and CEO of Boldly Speaking LLC, for a fireside chat to share actionable strategies to close representation and equity gaps. Swipe to explore Dapelo-Garcia’s actionable recommendations for closing representation and pay equity gaps.

It’s undeniable — ChiefX is unlike anything else. This week, hundreds of Chief Members gathered in NYC to exchange expertise, discover new leadership strategies, and make powerful connections with fellow executive women. If you couldn’t make it, here are just a few of the words of encouragement we overheard throughout the day👇 “Explain your post to me! You’re nominated for Woman of the World? It’s about time!” “I’m never going to let myself *not* be difficult ever again.” “I’m happy and excited for you, that’s a big move!” “Hey, I’ve got your back.” Chief Members: Share your favorite quotes from ChiefX in the comments below.

Forty-three percent of women executives experience burnout over the course of their careers. Burnout can manifest in many ways, and its symptoms are often hard to detect. According to Executive Coach and Burnout Expert Dr. Kim Hires, women executives are particularly prone to overlooking these signs. She says, “It's very hard, especially at the executive level to spot burnout, because you're getting rewarded for the work and you're not seeing any change in your performance so there's really no indicator that you need to slow down." This World Mental Health Day, take a moment to learn how to identify and overcome burnout by reading the link in our comments.

Scared? Do it anyway. “No risk, no reward. The upside of building a big career is breaking boundaries and having fun along the way. The downside? Sure, you might get fired — and I have been twice, with my name on the front page of The Wall Street Journal." Despite those setbacks, Sallie Krawcheck went on to found Ellevest, a company dedicated to putting more wealth — and power — into the hands of women. In a packed session at ChiefX NYC, Sallie shared how she’s unapologetically embraced bold, fearless decisions to change the game for women’s financial futures.
